So, full disclosure, I find Wolverine so ridiculously hot. I know, I know he’s just this fictional character, but that should tell you right there the kind of man that I find irresistible. You know very damaged, an outsider, TONS of baggage, sooo very wounded with all the best intentions. It’s not only the Hugh Jackman version I get all hot and bothered for. I even swoon over the comic book version. No seriously, check out the Kaare Andrews illustrated Astonishing X-Men: Xenogenesis for proof.
Anyhow, enough of me salivating over Logan and check out Kevin Wada’s X-Men re-imagined as models in a fashion spread. As you can see Wolverine is a Dolce kind of man. I really dig how he used elements from each characters’ usual ‘look’ and turned it on it’s head, like Lady Deathstrike’s fingernails, or Phoenix’s feathered gown or simply classing up the joint (just a tad) as seen on Emma Frost. Comic books and fashion, all good things and totally better when they intersect.
